Our live food safety training seminars are the most popular of these choices and each course offers a nationally approved exam at the end of each class; either ServSafe or National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP). Both of these are accredited by ANSI. We offer some of the most effective and entertaining classes in the country. Some jurisdictions require attending a managers food protection course and passing and accredited exam while others simply require that you pass the exam. Here is a guide to jurisdictions that approve our live seminars. Re-certifiers often have the option of taking the entire manager food protection certification class or just the exam but again this varies depending on your jurisdiction.

Managers Food Protection Private Classes
We can conduct the same class at your location in English, Spanish or Portuguese saving you time and perhaps money depending on how many students you have (8 is the break even point).

Managers Food Protection Course - Online Course
The online courses are a great way to learn at your own pace and all they require is a computer with a broadband internet connection. The great advantage is that it offers a class at your schedule 24/7. The courses are interesting with sound, videos, picture, text, quizzes and activities. We offer both the Training Achievement Program and the ServSafe Online Mangers Certification courses. The Training Achievement Program offers a Pass Guarantee! Either of these two courses take the place of the textbook and class but DO NOT include the Manager Food Protection exam. All jurisdictions require you to take a nationally approved exam. These Exams are available through us or at 1100 testing centers across the country.

The Examination:
Our open and private Food Safety classes always include the examination but the online and home study food safety courses do not. In order to become certified manager in food protection you must pass one of the 3 nationally accepted exams: ServSafe, The National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRSFP), or ProMetrics. We use the ServSafe and the NRSFP as they are both accepted nationwide by every jurisdiction. you will need to score a 75% and the exams are multiple choice questions with 80-90 questions on each exam.
The Manager Food Protection examinations are available in a written version or an online version. The written exams can be taken at any of our scheduled class locations or in our office. The online exam may be taken at your place of business (extra charge) or in our office. As with the written exams, the online food safety exam must be administered by an approved proctor (which means you can't take an online exam at home alone).
